We interview activist and Puyallup tribal member Patricia Wallace, a vigilant, driven and dedicated activist. She speaks with us regarding allies in the fight, the statement “water is life,” and the beginnings of her journey in helping create a movement.

Miguel Douglas is the executive director of American Indian Republic and is an enrolled member of the Puyallup Tribe of Indians. He has written extensively on Indian gaming and its effects on American Indian communities, having received a Master's Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies. He is also a web and software developer and is the lead designer for the creative design studio Bella & Belle.
